Redgrave is Angie Mead and Stephen Howard (Pinebender), a swamp blues, howling hard rock duo with undercurrents of doom and blues that is already being touted in the Chicago media as the next band on the horizon to watch. One year ago the band never existed and the two players were mere acquaintances. Today, they are poised to release their first 7" (recorded at Greg Norman's studio) and have earned unexpected admirers from top tastemakers like Jesus Lizard frontman David Yow (who did the art for the record) and Califone’s Tim Rutili (plays 2nd Guitar on one of the songs) among others.
